Finally got to play with my xiangqi set the other day.  It'd help if I had someone to play with who knew what they were doing (because I was going by the rules on Wiki myself).  Then I remembered I hadn't uploaded any Faye Wong yet!

I finally got my CDs yesterday!!!

One of the albums I bought is called "The Golden Tripod Awards" for some reason.  It has 2 CDs:  One Mandarin and one Hokkien.  I'll upload the Hokkien later, but this post is for the Mandarin part.  I guess I didn't preview very many of the songs from this album before I bought it, but that could be because so few ( Read more... )

The other day, I was in an Asian market where they played a lot of Fei Yu Qing and Teresa Teng and I was trying to guess the song because I even heard vocals.  I tried searching for Teresa Teng on Amazon, but didn't find anything, so I tried "Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin."  I came up with some really odd covers, including ones that posed to be ( Read more... )
